As a full time Florida Keys Flats guide having an angler coming tight to a fish is one of the most exciting parts of my day.
Look closely in this killer photo and you will see there is a white froth (some call this the white mouse) left on the water surface from the fly line braking the surface so quickly.
This angler just came tight to a large tarpon in the Florida Keys. See how the dark clouds and the rain showers amplify the visibility in the water? This just adds to the overall excitement of this photo. I love this photo and it makes me want to go tarpon fishing right now.
