Conventional ocean-reel brand FinNor has entered the high-end fishing sunglasses market with 20 frame designs and four lens colors in both glass and plastic (polycarbonate). The frames are sharp and the polarization seems in line with the major fishing sunglasses brands, in my experience.
Their lenses employ “Lateral Line” technology, which uses seven layers that combine to perform premium polarization with durability. They are marketed at ocean anglers which is consistent with their other offerings, but they are also plenty useful for spotting trout in streams and lakes.
My Browns Bays with gray (silver mirror) polycarbonate lenses compete well with my other name-brand sunglasses in terms of polarization and sharpness, though they do lack some side coverage where a bit of light can peek through. The gray lenses are quite dark, which is great on bright summer and snow-lit winter days.
All frames have front vents and adjustable nosepieces, and lenses are available in glass and plastic.
