This is a B-movie through and through, but thanks in large part to a deep cast of familiar faces and reliable character actors, it's a solid crime thriller that respects the true-life blueprint of the story.

Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. I'm still waiting to find the joy in suffering.Watching this movie was suffering. So much so, that I couldn't finish it.First off, the families of the West Mesa murders were just victimized AGAIN as this movie was a crime. Mel Gibson didn't direct this movie, but he did direct Braveheart, so he should have stood up on the cheap police station set and yelled, CUT! Bad acting, lazy writing, bad wardrobe, bad sets. This director should never work again. All around nothing worth seeing here. How do you take a true serial killer story and screw it up??? You cast 50 Cent, that's how you screw it up.
