During this time, no trucks 10 ft or more in width are allowed to cross the Westbound Bay Bridge. Additional weekday double lane closure between 10 AM and 2 PM Monday to Friday will be implemented after November 5, 2019 as permitting by weather and traffic. In addition, during this time period, when two-way operation is implemented for westbound span, NO TRUCKS WILL BE ALLOWED traveling westbound across the Bay Bridge. Aug292019 BAY BRIDGE DECK REHABILITATIONPROJECT-Weather permitting, the rightmost lane (Lane 1) on Westbound Bay Bridge (US 50/301) will be closed starting on September 30, 2019 as part of the deck rehabilitation project.Lane 1 will remain closed 24/7 until Spring of 2020. During this time, nightly full Westbound Bay Bridge closure with two-way traffic on Eastbound Bay Bridge is in effect (weather permitting). It is recommended that commercial vehicles should avoid crossing the Bay Bridge and stay on I-95. When traveling to the Bay Bridge, drivers should expect major delay and plan accordingly.
